Rain Drops Falling On My Head
Raindrops on my tin roof woke me up this morning. It was a glorious sound to hear since we have been suffering from a severe drought most of the year. The summer fires came within a few miles of my place. Many homes and forest land were destroyed this year. The local farmers and ranchers have been hit hard. I don't believe anyone was able to bring a crop this year. And there was very little grass for the animals to eat.
But what I'm thinking about today is the rain on my roof top and dreams of the spring garden. Hope is everywhere, you just need to open your eyes and heart to it.
