Meggie, You've captured, once again, what I love about Texas when I visit--how the big, open sky meets the earth. With all our mountains and trees here in the Pacific Northwest, we don't always appreciate the beauty of this. I also like the peacefulness you relay to us of this setting...at least until the tractors or maybe a cycling club appears:-D XOXO
Never know what you are going to meet on those country roads. Going to a friend's farm near Seguin, I met up with with well over a hundred cyclists.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true, Janet....and you do have to look at for tractors that are nearly as wide as this road!

Not a single car *smile* that's unusual.

Sounds like heaven on earth to me, and just what I could do with! x
ReplyDeleteWow - that's a real contrast to the commute that I follow every day! Jx
ReplyDeleteI could be very happy driving on roads like that, it looks so peaceful and beautiful - and so straight it could be a Roman road!
ReplyDeleteI love country roads, especially those without much traffic! Lovely photo.
ReplyDeleteThat road looks like it goes on forever - so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove that shot! It looks like it never ends!
ReplyDeleteLovely, Meggie. That road calls to me.... a nice walk, just the fresh country air and my thoughts. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI always love 'looking down the road' shots!
