At first glance, looking out my upstairs window, I thought it was a red bird. Usually, I see an all over effect of the leaves changing in color. As it gets cooler, the tree will become a spectacular display of red.

I'm just hoping this is a sign that cooler weather is on it's way......

I've seen some signs too..ah well, it has to come I suppose.

Surely a sign of cooler weather! Our apples are coming in, which makes it feel like fall to me, even though the days are still hot.
ReplyDeleteWe are definitely seeing leaves changing color up here.....I love fall I just wished it lasted longer, but no snow!
ReplyDeleteOur leaves are already falling:-( Don't get me wrong, I love autumn, but with 4 HUGE maple trees, on top of several cedars trees, the raking becomes overwhelming and I'd must prefer cutting blooms, baking, or creating paper flowers:-D
ReplyDeleteWe've had some leaves turn because of the drought. I'm more than ready for fall weather!
ReplyDeleteThe weather has definitely turned here, too. A few autumnal colours, lower temperatures, shorter days...I love it! I hope you get some cooler weather soon.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Since very little grows spontaneously here in the desert/plains of NM, I wonder if they would grow here. About the only thing I'll see with fall color will be Virginia Creeper, unless I drive up into the mountains when the aspens turn.
ReplyDelete(Well, Chinese elms grow easily; I'm constantly pulling out some of those little buggers.)
It's feeling pretty cool and Autumnal in Worcestershire UK! Jx
ReplyDeleteI saw a few leaves that had changed color the other day! It's almost here!
