Monday's Country Back Roads


Picture Perfect....from the many times I have traveled down this road.


I do believe, I will never tire of driving the back roads on the prairie.

       At times, you must pull over, in the grass, when faced with an on coming vehicle.

    A bit like our country lanes over here only quite often we have tall hedgerows around which can be a bit scary when two cars meet! Love your photos. Suzy x

      I can just imagine how scary it would be... here the hills are what are scary. I drive very slow.

    So quiet and peaceful. Do you call black and white cows Freisens or Holsteins?

      Hello Jane....they are called Holsteins. I love spotted animals. There is a spotted donkey I want to photograph...still looking for a way to pull partially off the road and be safe.

      Hi Susan....I think that is why I find myself so often, driving on them. Some of my best photos have been taken on these roads.

    The difference between Texas country roads and Minnesota country roads is that we have ditches on either side for snow to be plowed into.

      There are so many winding back roads, that I carry a county map, just in case, I get lost.
