For a long time, I have watched and waited to photograph this little fella. In case you are wondering, this is a Spotted Ass.
Every time I passed by him, on the country road, he was just too far away to get a good photograph.
I spotted him (no pun intended) several months ago and fell in love with him.

DeleteFirst time I've ever seen a spotted one! Great shots. Love seeing the beautiful wildflowers, too. I think I see blue bonnets!
ReplyDeleteHi Cheryl...I thought the wildflowers would add to the photos...If you click on "Spotted Ass", it will take you to a link. Donkeys can be real loving animals. They can also help protect baby calves from predators.
DeleteOh he is adorable. This is the second blog I have read today featuring donkeys!!
ReplyDeleteMeggie, he is so handsome. I love his colouring and that compact body. Then we have his friend, the mighty Longhorn! Lovely photographs of two beautiful creatures....well spotted!
