Where do I write most of my posts? Most are written while I sit in my Cozy Reading Nook, at the top of the stairs. This morning I can see the flickering flames in the fireplace, located below in the main living area. The warmth travels up the stairs to keep my toes toasty.
Do you have a favorite spot you call your own?
Meet Frasier....he followed me home yesterday, after shopping at "Hobby Lobby".
He will be keeping watch by the fireplace.
Stay warm, my friends...
Meggie
Hi I'm not sure how I stumbled onto your blog but I'm so pleased I did! Its a lovely place in blog land. My mum and nana have scottie dog ornaments so yours brought a big smile. Love Leanne
ReplyDeleteWould you believe "Frasier" is a cookie jar? Thanks for stopping by...
ReplyDeleteyour home looks so cosy Meggie. I dont have a special place really, I love our living room especially when the fire is on and the curtains drawn on a cold dark night.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure tonight is one of those cold nights....stay warm!
DeleteWhat a warm and cozy scene. Although 34 sounds pretty good about now. We are going down to 5 tonight.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness...that is cold!
DeleteI like Frasier! He looks right at home in front of the fire. Such a pretty scene!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cheryl....I'm tempted to get a real-live Scottie ! I saw one while I was in Scotland, touring Sterling Castle.
DeleteI snuggle up in our office, upstairs. Cold here in KY too, with snow and sleet.
ReplyDeleteThe wind is howling here...no snow, but we could have some icy roads in the morning.
DeleteYour home is beautiful! Nice spot!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Brian....we all need our favorite spot !!
DeleteFrasier is so cute! Love your cozy spot.
ReplyDeleteThanks Debbie....the table runners you are sewing are adorable!
ReplyDeleteCurrently, I don't have a house/home of my own but... a big change is on it's way !
ReplyDeleteAnd when I'll have one, I hope it to be as cosy as yours, Meggie.
Hello Rachel.....I know how you love the country look. I'm looking forward to your big change...
ReplyDeleteWe had temperatures in the 80s yesterday and today it's only going to be in the 40s--what a change, but as long as we don't get snow, I'm happy. Stay warm and cozy, XOXO
ReplyDeleteThe fireplace is doing a good job today. Thank goodness there is no ice on the roads.
DeleteOh - that is cold - its around 50 here just now. I love Frasier - my first real pet dog was a westie, called Ben. xx
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for a Westie or Scottie. Our temp is 34 and feels like 28. The winds have been bad.
