While photographing the Veterans Memorial Baseball Park (my previous post), I saw St Michael Catholic Church in the distance.
You will remember what I wrote about Weimer...
a small town with a population of 2,000.
Originally, in 1888, St Michael Church was started as a mission.
The current building was built in 1913.
The European heritage of the towns' Czech and German immigrants,
is reflected in the Gothic Revival architecture.
