Writing a post about " Books of Interest To Me", is a first.
I'm an avid reader of...
American History, Scotland, Time Travel, and Politics.
My special interests change from time to time.
And, it is not unusual for me to read two books a week.
So let me show you what I am reading now.
A new release...
Just finished this one...and loved it.
Also read "The Winter Sea", by Susanna Kearsley, the same week as
Claire R McDougall's Veil of Time.
I must admit when it comes to fiction,
I'm addicted to historical romance novels.
So there it is...out in the open.
I insist on a "HEA".
Do you recognize that term?
Happy Ever After
A new author for me.
Not a new book,
but one I open from time to time.
I guess the unpacking of my small library,
is what has prompted this post.
I'm so Thankful
I have the freedom
to read whatever I choose.

I have just finished reading a book and will be posting soon about it. I love reading books in the fall and winter. I went to look about the one you posted "Veil of Time" and I have put that on my Christmas list to buy. It sounds wonderful. I also like time travel books.
ReplyDeleteHello Betty....I especially love the time travel back to Scotland. For me, it all ties in with my love of history.
DeleteI am an avid and eclectic reader but I am completely unfamiliar with every single book in your post. I'll be looking some of them up to find out more. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way..."avid and eclectic". I was very apprehensive about revealing my taste in books...it is so personal. Thanks for your comment.
DeleteA couple of these really have an appealing title...I want to check into them later.
ReplyDeleteThey are not for everyone...and remember, I was just revealing my taste in books. Like Christina,(above comment) I'm an eclectic reader...If you are like me, it's fun to find a new author that I enjoy.
DeleteI enjoyed The Winter Sea, she is a good author. Her father reads my old photo blog and recommended the book to me:)
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd say it's a small world....glad you enjoyed the book.
DeleteI am tempted by The Winter Sea. Thanks for the recommendations. I do find I get stuck into one particular kind of reading (currently quite a lot of detective fiction which is a departure for me) and I need to give myself a kick to try something else. I do read a lot as you do. I can get through three or four books a week if I give myself free rein but as you can imagine that rather precludes doing anything else!
ReplyDeleteWinter is a wonderful time to read....especially when I think about your post and the word "Hygge". Thanks for stopping by...
