My favorite way to hunt....
with a camera.
To tell you the truth,
I had no idea I would find the Red Head Ducks,
that have migrated here for the winter.
As you can see, I was not close to the pond.
And, as soon as I stepped out of the truck,
they were alert to my every movement.
Having enough of my camera,
one of the males turned,
and swam away....
It's the beginning of another glorious week.

They sure are handsome...I have never seen these.
ReplyDeleteEach year I watch when the ducks appear on the ponds. This is my first time to notice the red head ones. Wish I could have gotten closer, but they are very sensitive to your movements.
