The entire fence line seems to be leaning...
it does make me wonder what happened here.

Leaning fence, that how ours is fast becoming and has many stakes to hold it up, we are loath to replace it because of the cost involved so keep patching away. Great pic.
ReplyDeleteThe fence almost looks like they built it that way....the post are made of metal and should be strong enough to hold up.
DeleteInteresting leaning fence find! it makes you wonder & tilt your head!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend!
That's exactly what I did when I first saw it....I'm thinking that maybe high water and debris rushed through the area. That would be enough to push the stakes over.
DeleteBeautiful photo! Love the trees and flowers.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the wind did the fence leaning...
I guess there is always that possibility...thanks for your comment.
Deletemy guess...hungry cattle herd pressing thru the wires to reach green grass in the ditch. over and over again. :) makes a great shot, though.
ReplyDeleteCould be, but the barbed wire looks too tight. Thanks again for hosting Good Fences.
DeleteIt is pretty weird. I would go with Texwisgirl's guess.
ReplyDeleteLove the leaning fence. It just takes one lazy post to pull the rest down - my silly theory. If it is on a floodplain I'd agree with you and the flooding theory. We flood every year or so and have a couple of fences on a bit of a lean, too.
ReplyDeleteHi again Meggie, I left a comment but can't see it. Hope it went where all comments should go.
ReplyDeleteIt makes for a beautiful shot! Love the wildflowers!
