Usually I post a photo of four walls and a roof top
...a place of worship.
I've had this photo for awhile,
occasionally pondering whether or not to post it.
The faith and commitment, of this family, reminds me of a song
we sang in vacation bible school....so many years ago.
"This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine
This little light of mine, I'm going to let it shine
Hide it under a bushel, no!
I'm going to let it shine"

ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle....wishing you the same.
DeleteAnd why not?! Better than advertising detergent or smart phones and a more altruistic motive. Though it does remind me of a piece of graffiti that was quite common to see a few years back - under 'Jesus saves', people wrote 'Pope scores off the rebound' - which I always found mildly amusing. And I confess I still occasionally listen to The Seekers' version of 'This Little Light of Mine' - but don't tell anyone, will you?
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you humor....and of course, your comments. May I remind all my readers to take a look at your blog. You write about the most interesting history, interjecting some of your humor to the posts.
