To explain how I came about purchasing a small replica made by Lilliput Lane,
I must start with a blog named
written by my dear friend, Elaine.
Elaine is a multi-talented person...
everything from creating art, sewing, gardening,
and most especially her writing talent.
Her interests, much like mine, are varied.
It was in May 2016 she wrote a post about Teapot Hall,
believed to be built in the 17th Century.

to give Elaine's post a read.
After reading her post, I decided to order my very own Teapot Cottage.
The tiny details are so perfect...
right down to a miniature vegetable garden.
So, thanks to you, dear Elaine,
I have a tiny Teapot Cottage to remind me of all the wonderful posts
you have shared over the years,
about your family,
and life in Lincolnshire County, England.

No corner is wasted... there's even little milk churns by the door. Jx

That is very cute. I'll have to check out her blog.
ReplyDeleteHello, Marcia....you won't be disappointed in her blog....
DeleteThat is soooo pretty. Now I want one. I'm going now to read her post. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteYou will enjoy her blog....she has chickens, too!
DeleteI miss Elaine's posts and when I was in Birmingham last week, I wished I had time to visit her. I do have to go back in May and may well look her up! Your cottage is so perfect; I'll have English cottages out in May in dies to make cards with. I'll send you one, my friend, XOXO
ReplyDeleteHello Susan...that would be fantastic....I feel like the three of us are connected by "apron strings"
DeleteHello Susan, I haven't been in contact with you for such a long time, but I want you to know that Ming Ming and I wear our aprons and take great pleasure in using them. When I wear mine, to help out at village hall functions, it is always admired and commented on. ...Still making your rather special chocolate chip cookies, too!x
DeleteHello dearest Meggie, Thank you! This is a beautiful post, and you are far too kind, I am blushing. Teapot Hall was a tiny, but very beautiful, cottage and yet a big family managed to live there. such a shame that it has now gone.
ReplyDeleteps The little model is really very charming, I fear I was a bit less than complementary about them, sorry.
The compliments to you are well deserved, and much more.
DeleteThat is just so pretty...it makes the imagination take flight. I would have loved to have this to look at when I was a kid.
